The Chinese Dwarf Hamster makes a fantastic, undemanding and friendly pet for both adults and children alike. I myself have kept 3 individuals and all of the morphs available at the time of writing. As well as being low maintenance and personable pets, I have found these little rodents also make great photo subjects, with their big black eyes and often "smiling" faces, not to mention that they are downright adorable. I would highly recommend these little guys as pets, but research is essential-and that is why I set up this site!
